BEAUT UTES
Katherine musters the Holdens

While it pains him to admit it, Jalyn Ford business manager
Jonathan Baldock grudgingly concedes that Holden entries dominated at the
Katherine
Beaut Ute Muster held in May. Indeed, only two brave Ford owners entered
the event’s biggest category – Best Bachelor and Spinster Ute. What did
please the second-year judge was that entries increased on last year’s
17, to 20.
“We were very happy with the response and we only hope that it will grow
in 2005,” he says. According to Jonathan, demand will likely force the
inclusion of a Feral Ute category, which, in 2004, was replaced by the
Work Ute class.
