ABOUT US

Paul MyersR.M. Williams OUTBACK magazine was launched in September 1998 to celebrate the Australian outback. In its short history the magazine has captivated people far and wide and is attracting a rapidly-increasing readership.

Why? Not only is the magazine a great read, with wonderful photography, OUTBACK represents all that is powerful and positive about the outback - the people, places, events and experiences that are making outback Australia one of the most favored tourism destinations on earth.

As anyone knows who has slept under a blazing Outback sky, felt the silence, the power and taken in the beauty of the outback, it draws and captures you and, once experienced, never lets you go.

Outback coverThe outback captivated and entranced young Reg Williams. He became a living national treasure by sharing his outback. RM has never really left the outback and, most certainly, it can never leave him.

The outback has captured us too. We believe this quintessential Australian place that exists physically and has a permanent place in our minds is worth sharing and, very definitely, is worth depicting in a quintessential Australian magazine.

We invite you to subscribe to OUTBACK magazine. And if you are already a regular reader of OUTBACK, please use our feedback page to send us your letters, comments, contributions to our "Mailboxes & Signposts" or "Oddities" sections, or suggestions for events to be included on our OUTBACK Events calendar.
