The day of the Crystal Brook Show, held in the small South Australian
town in late August, was wet and windy at times, but the large number of entries
in the ute muster kept the crowd interested. With the furthest entrant driving
from Port Lincoln, and a group of ute club regulars from Adelaide travelling
the short 400-kilometre round trip, Mid-North locals and expats still managed
to win a number of the categories.
