Nestled high on an isolated hilltop, overlooking a picturesque valley near Mansfield, Victoria, the Wrangler Jayne Ranch mysteriously blends into this stereotypical Man from Snowy River scenery. Hoofbeats thud over lush pastured ground as a family of Arabian horses playfully gallop toward 'Wrangler Jayne' on her command, followed closely by 'Spirit' - a young black brumby colt.

What comes naturally'Spirit' was recently captured from the high country and now, only five months old, has a level of training and trust in humans that many pleasure horses rarely develop in a lifetime. His education is a credit to a talented and dedicated lady who until as recently as eight years ago knew nothing about horses. In fact Jayne Glenn is an accomplished artist, and became interested in pleasure horses only after moving back to Australia from America in 1995. Story end
