Warwick rodeo

For more than 90 years, country people from far and wide have flocked to Warwick on Queensland's southern Darling Downs for the annual Warwick Rodeo, one of the best-loved and most prestigious events of its kind in the country.
Since 1929, they've come up as well for the Warwick Gold Cup, the ultimate competition for campdrafters, and the Canning Downs Campdraft, another venerable event with a long pedigree in this testing sport.
This year, in late October, 60,000 people, almost 2500 head of cattle and at least 1200 horses converged on Warwick Showground for a serious celebration of the best of country life, and to witness hard-won skills that make Warwick's events the ultimate test.
